My husband and I are planning to visit Boquete at the end of January for a couple of weeks. We are looking into finding a rental home in Boquete. During this visit my husband is concerned about missing the NFL playoffs and the SuperBowl on Feb.3.  Does anyone know of a bar/restaurant in Boquete that has satillite/Direct T.V. and plays the American football/NFL games for their customers?

I can relate. One of the first things I did when I got to Boquete in September was to find out where I could watch a game.

we were in Bali for the month of September and my husband thought he would be able to stream it on-line on his lap top, using our Dircect TV account. But "Direct T.V. Everywhere" did not apply ot Indonesia. He had a fit, to put it mildly.

Again. I can relate. I know exactly how he felt..I don't think you can get D Tv Everywhere outside of the States.

yeah, we didn't have Direct T.V. for years here in Hawaii because we couldn't get the signal from the satillites they use in space. Then we got it about 5 years ago. We still can't get many of the east coast feeds because we're in the middle of the Pacific...

So what kind of satillite/Cable TV service do you get in Panama? Any that have DVR's so you can record 2 shows and watch another?  Haha.  I figure, aside from leisure reading, enjoying beer and wine, T.V. will be a very important entertainment part of our lives- as it has been for years for us here in Hawaii.

There are a few different options. Your best bet is to use this forum's search engine. The topic has been covered a lot & you will find all the options quicker that way.

Once you are outside the states there is also the option of  ustvnow.com.  We pull this up on the computer to watch shows from the states quite often.....including our Sunday football.
