Cool, Green and the best Coffee in the world
Hi! Les and I are coming, most likely in July. We are looking for a place to stay near Boquete. As non-smokers with no pets, we are available to housesit for a flexible term.
If we don't find that, we'll be looking for a rental. If you know of something nice in a 2/2 for a reasonable price ($750-900), we would like to know more. We are looking forward to getting to know Boquete and all its interesting residents.

There is so much to do here or nothing to do. It is great. I love it. I do miss my friends and family but I can always fly back for a visit.
Permalink Reply by Claudia Harkins on April 28, 2012 at 12:53pm Well I'm feeling sad about leaving my home, but I'm excited about making a new one. Also, it is not a long flight and after last summer I'm surprised anyone is left in Texas. It was truly hellish. Maybe we should get a stateside group in touch and we can encourage your wife. I could be wrong, but my sense is that all of the activities that your wife is interested in will be available in Boquete. Has she looked at the links on this site? Also, if you don't find it, you can always start it! I'm really looking forward to gardening where I don't have to pay $300 a month to keep my yard alive in the summer. Has she seen Cora's cooking site: bouquetegourmet ?
That said, I understand that it is scary. Get her to take a baby step. We can hold hands!
I`ve heard about bridge club..also know about tennis at V Escondido, she just doesnt want to check anything....I think shes afraid of me trying to "convince" her...my next step is to get one of her friends to go with her on a trip, so someone else than I will be telling her how nice it is...might work...she`s not great at gardening...she`s planted a few flowers ,thats about it...I would probably be the one gardening.....
