Many of you may have just received an e-mail from Lyft denouncing Trump's immigration ban and that was a stupid move. They are a knock off of Uber and I've used both which are good. But for a company to inject politics into their business model is not a wise move. I'm sticking with Uber.
Listen to what the founders of Lyft had to say. These are educated and smart people but are not aware they contradicted their own message with back to back sentences. Trump imposed a temporary ban on 7 countries which were already on a list of high risk terrorist nations. Trump did NOT select the countries and did NOT pose a ban based on faith or creed, race or identity, sexuality or ethnicity, from entering the U.S. which these founders claim. This is prime example of liberals who take radical action based upon falsehoods. This is also an example of two elitist liberals who think they define what core American values are. They don't. The American voters decided that. It is NOT anti-ethical to impose immigration bans. It is completely legal and has been done before and is what a leader of a country needs to do depending upon the circumstances.
"This weekend, Trump closed the country's borders to refugees, immigrants, and even documented residents from around the world based on their country of origin. Banning people of a particular faith or creed, race or identity, sexuality or ethnicity, from entering the U.S. is antithetical to both Lyft's and our nation's core values. We stand firmly against these actions, and will not be silent on issues that threaten the values of our community.”
No one who is not a U.S. citizen has an inherent right to enter the United States. It is a PRIVILEGE. Just like we Americans do not have a right to freely enter Panama. We are given permission to enter their country for limited amount of time. And guess what? Your pensionado status can be revoked and you can be deported at any time. That's life in the real world. It's not all hugs and kisses.

This is the truth behind the womens' march. I bet very few if any of these women have done any research and know the truth.

Educated does not always equal smart.
I call on all the "white" people here who do not have residency to demand that Panama give them residency, welfare, free medical, free education and a social security type pension. They also need housing assistance, power bill subsidies and food stamps.
I dare you.
Oh the stench of hypocrisy coming from the left.
People here whine about having to leave for 72 hours every six months.
