Debbie Silverman's discussion had a statement: ...a circulating email of us old timers from Ning were asked to ban together and attempt to create trouble for Ning's new management via postings on CL and Ning to make Ning look bad to the community. The post this morning by Judy Sacco is confirmation of such a plan.
That is absolute BS. I never got such an email from CL nor was asked to be part of such a plan. I am not part of a plan to trash ning. The discussion was closed before I ever got a chance to respond.

Judy, in all my lurking I've never seen you be anything but sweet and kind here. Perhaps that so called confession itself was a plant or an attempt to cause trouble, who knows. Don't give it another thought sweetheart. You just keep on being your kind, helpful self here. That deafens all the other nonsense. Truth always shines through.

Judy, we explained why, and confirmed to move forward trying to refocus our content away from these type of controversies. As previously stated, Ning offered our homepage as announcement assistance to Marion for close to a month. We are proud to continue to help when asked. We hope community members continue to help those in need should a tragedy strike them or their loved ones. Ning will always support those causes.
