TRUCKLOAD OF PRODUCE AT PLAZA SAN FRANCISCO - 4:30 PM - DONATION ONLY - NO CHARGE
Our farm is celebrating the new year by bringing a full pickup truck of Bell and Nathalie sweet peppers, cilantro, swiss chard, collard greens and kale to Plaza San Francisco at 4:30 PM today (Monday). (We also have a free recipe sheet to show you how to cook these delicious greens!) We want you to come and enjoy our products. If you are running short of cash this week, come and get what you need for your family with absolutely no charge. If you want to leave a donation, that's perfectly fine, but not required (seriously!). Please bring plastic bags or boxes, and please get only what you need for your family, and another family if you are picking up for someone who couldn't be there. We attempt to grow all organic so our products are safe for your family. We look forward to seeing you today at 4:30 PM at the parking lot of Plaza San Francisco. We are traditionally only there for about 1/2 hour as supplies go fast. Come early. Share this with your friends who love any of these products we have today.
All donations are used to help prepare our dehydration facility on Potrerillos Abajo where we will dehydrate fruits and vegetables that are non sellable. From the dehydrated products we will make soup mixes for the extremely poor and mal nutritioned in the hill tribes and villages of Chiriqui. Every farm loses approximately 10% of their crop to a circumstance that doesn't allow that crop to be sold in the normal markets. Too large, too small, strange size, etc. Any and all donations are appreciated and will go towards helping the mal-nutritioned.
