The man was never in las trancas. it was farther north (el seminario), and he was not being chased by delinquents. He was the delinquent, who was about to be lynched by the local residents. He threw himself down the ravine to the river and waited for the mob to leave. then he went home, where he saw the search and rescue effort on tv.
the other two were foreign nationals that decided last minute, and on a drunken binge to scale the volcan. they turned around 1/2 way up and went home to david. there was no one at the anam caseta to greet or register them. that search too was called off.
ABSOLUTELY!!!
Well, here's the deal. My wife get's together with a group (12-15) local Boquete women every Tues. & Thurs for a Art class. One woman reported the man missing on Tuesday via her small phone so that all the others in the group would get the message. When my wife returned from Art class today she told me that the missing guy in Boquete was all a hoax, he was reported missing by his wife to cover his thievery tracks. Obviously, she was a thief also. The Police later picked him up in Bugaba with scratches all over his arms. I don't know any more than this but his wife's story sounded fishy to me.
Don't know what happened to the man in Cerro Punta
So the wife of the guy is in the Art class?
NO
I saw on TVN, about 90 minutes ago, that Sinaproc had called off the search. It did not appear that they had found anyone.
Hi Keith,
Is that why the helicopter is out and flying real low all around here? He was so low I was getting concerned. Thanks for the info above.
