Frank and Doobee the squirrel made it safely to Cancun, Mexico, after a four day bus ride from Boquete. Cancun seemed a little too wild for them so they've settled in Play del Carmen just south. He says the town is great but he does miss Boquete. The Corvette will soon join them after their four year hiatus in Panama.
Unfortunately Frank had to return to Miami for a stay at the VA hospital to have a tumor removed in his chest cavity. The surgery was last Friday and due to the nature of the operation he wasn't able to speak until yesterday. I spoke to him yesterday, he's in good spirits and looking forward to returning to Playa del Carmen.
He wishes everyone in Boquete the best.
PS: Doobee's new veterinarian in Play del Carmen was nice enough to care for him during Frank's stay in Miami.
