Any ideas where to get official US Passport photos in advance of the Embassy's visit to David on Wed., Dc. 9th? Previous thread on this topic was a year old.
Thanks!

I need to get my current driver's license "approved" to start the process of obtaining my Panama driver's license. Anybody know if this is one of the services they offer when they are in David?
Does one need to have an appointment, or can one just show up? This is great news if it saves me a trip to Panama City for this. thanks!
When they were here in Sept, I know several people who had their USA driver's licenses "authenticated" there at the library...it is NOT an apostile, but it is authenticated which is a step you can get done locally when the Embassy comes to Chiriqui. But I'd still try to get more opinions about that! Good luck.
We needed carnet photos for our Visa last week and went to Mail Boxes in Boquete! Arturo and Jossamy got us taken care of in 15-20 minutes-no driving to David! The photo guy behind Baru doesn't do carnet/passport photos any longer FYI.
Arturo at Mailboxes did my US Passport photos on Monday, based on the US Embassy specifications. Four photos for $2, done in 20 minutes. Such a deal (and I like keeping the business within our local economy), and no driving and sweating to get to David!
There is also a man here in Boquete - he has a little booth at the back of the empty field behind the Baru Restaurant. You'll get the photos right away.

Problem is that the guy at the empty space next to Baru is not always there. But you see his cell # on the wall of the building. We had our passport photos taken there in February.
Arrocha in Plaza Terronal (where El Rey and Conway are located). Go to second floor by where they sell the cameras. That's a left out of the elevator. Be sure to tell them it's for a US passport as the Canadian passport size is different.

I don't think they provide that. Here's the link:
