We love the farmers market and have tried many new fruits that we never had before. It is great to expose our kids to new foods.

Mikes Global Grill! Fresh always, organic sometimes, vegetarian and vegan options every day.. I know because I eat there all the time: there's vegan chili, pad thai, falafel/hummus, veggie sides...
I am going to describe this scene I witnessed way too many times: truck full of beautiful vegetables is parked at the local cafe. You walk by and marvel the gorgeous peppers and onions and carrots, just beatiful. Obviously it comes from the farm on the way to be sold/shipped. The owner of the truck is having lunch. You smile appreciating his hard labor and a nice lunch. You go in in anticipation of glorious food to be served here. But the first thing you see is the a giant can or carrots being ripped by a can opener... Probably shipped from China... its amazing...
Nope. I was going to open a vegan place but after talking to local Panamanians VERY quickly realized that it will be no go to cater to them. They don't understand how anyone can be a vegetarian. As a business you can't survive on retirees and tourist are too few.
Are you a vegan or vegetarian? Oasis has a great polenta dish. I love Pad Thai at Mike's Global grill with tofu.

It took only...what?..EIGHT years to get a juice bar here.....be fascinating to see how long THAT lasts. Though god knows I am thrilled.

Easily the best option for animal-free dining.
OK, thanks, where is it?

Big Daddy's has veggie burgers, salads and veggie taco's, one of Boquete's best restaurants.
