Thanks, I am aware of that. As you pointed out generally crime stats are problematic. The highway and homicide stats are from international organizations, UN, etc. and are not anecdotal and likely more accurate. But those stats can be cooked too!

I suppose self reporting biases of numbeo are about the same so comparisons can still be made from place to place, even though the methodology has shortcomings.

I wish numbeo had a barking dog index, that would be helpful!
