We are at the entrance of BCP this Tuesday morning in the white Toyota Hilux and will be giving away fresh organic vegetables, all for any donation that you wish to give. If you are running short of cash, please come get some food - seriously! We have Bok Choy, Nathalie Peppers, Cayenne, Italian and Thai Basil, Cebollitas (onions), Cilantro, Curled Kale and more. Almost all vegetables are refrigerated and fresh cut from our greenhouses in Potrerillos.
We are raising funds to complete the construction of our dehydration center for Chiriqui province which will rescue fruits and vegetables that are going to waste on farms throughout Chiriqui. We plan to make soup mixes from the dehydrated vegetables, and will give the food away to the indigent, malnurished and the extremely poor in the Comarca or remote mountain areas. We appreciate any and all donations. We are $16,000 away from completion and the dehydrator has been purchased which will dehydrate approximately 500 lbs of sliced vegetables per day.
