The Alcaldia has been steadily publishing in their FB page different updates of work they are doing within the community, yet no one is talking about it
They are patching the streets in different areas of Bajo Boquete
There is a lot of beautification and planting of trees and flowers around different areas of Mono, Quiel, Bajo

They have started work on installing piping for the new sanitary net of the District of Boquete
Repairs to water lines around Los Naranjos and repairs to water lines around Los Ladrillos and Cantera
Trenching and cleaning of rivers and creeks all around the district
Cut off illegal water connections of several residents who were not paying for their water. Collection of unpaid accounts and establishment of new services
So there seems to be a lot of activity going on in Palmira, Caldera, El Caño, Los Naranjos, Quiel, Bajo Boquete and in Alto Boquete they are offering now bilingual classes for FREE to train personnel in customer services, hotel reception and restaurant service.
All positive things few of us seem to comment about

when the crew was patching roads in Alto Boquete i made a point of stopping to thank the crew personally... they were the ones who were actually doing the work
It's great the progress that is being made and I can now see why the leak in our sub division of Brisas Boquetenas, which has been leaking for nearly 3 months now, has not been fixed. They are too busy elsewhere.
But huge kudos for how Boquete is being improved - especially the streets and the regular police patrols that we get at night. A great improvement over the previous administration. Thanks Olga - your updates are appreciated.
Our new mayor is obviously interested in making improvements to the community, water transportation being high on the priority list. I wonder when they will get around to the leak in front of Fresas Mary, on the Volcancito road, which has been there for at least 9 years.
They fixed my road.
