Information

Boquete Veggie Gardener Swap / Co-op

There are many backyard gardeners in Boquete.  Often we find ourselves with more harvest than we can eat, give away or can.

The purpose of this group is to bring together people who have a passion for vegetable gardening and who want to create a community of sharing/swapping/bartering of vegetables.

With the many micro-climates in Boquete, some can grow veggies that others cannot. This is a great way to share veggies across a community.

It is suggested that you post your "upcoming" bounty and the estimated harvest date. Also the area where you grow i.e. Volcancito, Alto Boquete, etc.

You may also state what type of veggies/fruits you are looking to swap/barter.

Tell us the quantity to swap.

Also tell us what if any chemicals or hormones you use on your veggies; the name brand; ingredients and where you purchased it.

Pictures are always helpful.

We can also share or swap herbs, fruits, seeds, recipes, gardening tips.

Some may also be interested in swapping veggies for garden plants.

A reminder, the purpose of this group is for swapping/bartering of veggies and general sharing of information and not for direct sale of veggies.

Artists and gardeners! When are your veggies going into the Food Box? I was in there and they are anxiously awaiting them too, as are we!
