Boquete Panama

Cool, Green and the best Coffee in the world

"It's late at night
The chill is in the air
I can't seem to sleep
So I sit alone in my chair.

I'm just an old woman
Lighting a candle for the night
I'm thinking about nothing and everything
That matters to me tonight.

I'm blessed, really blessed
To have lived to this ripe, old age
I've read my bible three times through
And missed not one wise page!

I've learned more from my sorrows
Than my joys
I' ve brought up two fine sons
Who now have grown-up boys!

As the night ticks by...
The candle wistfully burns
And memories bring back
A tear or two.
As a heart so gently yearns

For angels' wings to visit her soon
As life is growing dim...
The candle listens so tenderly....
As the night air echoes with a hymn.
The clock beats tick-tock
Upon the papered wall
A heartbeat gently stops
And the wind's hymn outside
Beckons the dove's call!

A soul separates ever so lovingly
Upon these golden-dusted angel wings
And love is left behind...
As a candle fades away
With a flame yearning so hard
To live...
It brings one last surge of brilliance
Into the quiet, shimmering room
And memories dance as shadows
Illuminating the living room.

I'm just an old candle
But I gave comfort for the night
An old woman is at peace now
And I was blessed with the company of angels
With a flame never to cease!
