Most of you already know what's being served up on a celestial silver platter this morning - Mercury shifting allegiance from reverse to direct motion via a station at 22 degrees of Virgo (6:15AM PDT). Mercury stays forward until December 26 when it will go into retrograde motion again at 22 degrees of Capricorn. All Mercury themes - communication, language and words, classes and learning programs, educational pursuits and literary expression, travel plans and overall transportation, business negotiations, research and investigations, dexterity and versatility, stealth and sleights of hand - are reinforced today and for the next few days. However, signings and agreements are still in the iffy category since Mercury is parallel taskmaster Saturn (5:19AM PDT), Ceres makes an off-kilter, 150-degree tie to radical-change agent Uranus (5:39AM PDT), and Juno opposes Saturn (6:59AM PDT). This Juno-Saturn polarity is a particular knock-out blow when it comes to creating relationship tranquility. You may stumble into a calm and happy partnership experience, but if you do, it won't stem from this challenging aspect. What helps you maintain your equilibrium and enjoy team athletics and social or cultural gatherings are the monthly Moon-Jupiter (3:27PM PDT) and Moon-Chiron (11:57PM PDT) unions in Aquarius. These two lunar alliances can also offer you good fortune, an expansion of consciousness and the healing of old wounds and pains.
