Its December and for me, its the time for NFL Football! Nothing like a big game and I for one love to cook and Eat! What better than a hot, crusty and delicious calzone right out of the oven. This recipe uses several of my previous blogs recipes such as the Perfect New York Pizza Dough & The Real Italian Marinara. You can have all of this ready before you decide to put together your calzones.
Above is the simple presentation of how to put together a Calzone from the New York Pizza School.
There is no real recipe today, just the idea for you. A Calzone is different from a pizza and I just LOVE them.
In the pictures that I have taken, I used an Aged Provolone, a good Mozzarella, Parmesan, a Marinara Sauce and some Meatballs. This WAS a super delicious Calzone, now go ahead and make your own!
