Chip has not received any gifts yet

Take advantage of us and list what you are interested in doing in Boquete. This is a great way to meet like minded people.: I want to visit my old friend Mike Gianakis.
He used to live in Caldera.
But it seems that he has passed away.
I wonder what happened to him.

At 8:26am on November 26, 2008, Joy Koopman said…: Hi Chip, not sure if you're who emailed me or someone else, but yes Mike passed away and like I told you (or the person who emailed me) I felt it would be disrespectful to Mike and his family to discuss circumstances. Mike was a great guy who unfortunately was very troubled and his passing really had nothing to do with finances or the like. Just someone who felt it was 'his time'. There is much speculation into his passing and I personally feel that we simply need to pray that he is at peace. We were the first notified of his passing and I personally notified people back in the States of his untimely death. Just know that Mike had a huge heart and there were people here in Boquete that took care of him - and stil are. Best, Joy

I didn't know him well but I understand that, owing to the downturn in sales and failing fortunes, he had had enough.

No I am sorry I do not know anybody who was a friend with Mike.

However he was involved with one of the real estate companies in Boquete, do a search for the real estate companies and then email them.
