Houses are still over priced and despite realtors who deny, deny, deny, there will be another correction soon to get prices back where they belong. Recovery is not even close yet.......rent, don't buy for awhile. Sorry to those who are selling right now, but that's the way of the market, up and down, and up and down. Sometimes you hit it right, sometimes you don't. JT

If it works out, our plan would be to spend half the year there and half the year here in Asheville, NC. We're on fixed income so are wondering if we'll be able to find a small house to buy to live in while there and rent out while not. Just a real basic 2/1 would do for us. Do you have any insights from your recent visit about availability, price of any such little houses? Also would be interested in any good contacts you made while there.
