- Thanks for your reply! We would plan to come for an extended stay. My mom needs oxygen at ngiht and I am not sure how to plan for that. Also my boys are interested in coming so we would be a party of five. Makes for larger transportation necessary. The reason we are interested in Boquete region is the cooler climate. And from what I see and read the area is incredibly beautiful. Part of the draw is ease of language and although my mom and I are seasoned travelers (lived in Africa for 4 years) my boys are not. I think with some similarly cultured people (expats) this would make the transition a bit easier for them. Thanks again. I will be in contact. K

- Just look new to this site. Saw you are from Colorado. I live in Durango, but am considering a move to Boquete. Any suggestions about making the big move? My mom and I are looking at Boquete and plan a visit sometime in Feb. 2010.
