I found Duracells in my two Logitec Squeezebox Media Player remotes. Logitec has discontinued the Squeezebox product line, which NEED a remote to be used - and the remotes are no longer available.

David.....ya gotta just ignore them ( the professional insulters). They want you to respond. The less said the better. Eventually they can really be quite harmful to you as a resident here. I've seen it happen. You've got too good a thing going with your retirement here to let that happen. I say this because i care.

So glad you are happy here...I knew you would be.
I need your opinion on a carpentry project Dave. We live by Las Ruinas in Brisas. Love to take you to dinner and pump your expert carpentry brain for how we can box in the cover for our pull down security doors. Right now there's a metal box welded in place....a royal pain to take down and get back up each year when we maintain our pull-downs. I know your ideas would be better than anything we are commin up with. Give us a call

Bill and I live in Brisas Boquetenas ( across the road from Las Ruinas). We could use your adivse you being a person who works wood..well!. We are extending our living room into the outside porch which we will close in . (It will then be part of our living room.) What we have in between is a pull down set of security doors...(like the type you see to secure a store in a mall.)
We will then have a metal post ( that is a part of the track of the security doors) smack dab in the middle of the room that needs to turn into a faux wood column...so it looks like it's meant to be there.
We would love to share lunch with you , get to meet you and get some of your advice on how to do this. It's something sort of out of the realm of the usual for local carpenters.

We have a rather nice non-denominational church here that meets at the local community theater (BCP). We call ourselves Boquete Bible Fellowship. We have breakfast potluck together before service each Sunday. It's a great time to share our lives here and our experiences week by week.
