How are you involved in Boquete?

I live here

Take advantage of us and list what you are interested in doing in Boquete. This is a great way to meet like minded people.

I like horseback riding the mountains of Jaramillo and around Boquete (especially with someone) and invite anyone else who shares this interest, to participate. I keep busy by writing in my blog panamalady.com and taking the occasional consulting assignment in financial systems implementation/management.

Anyhow, hope you had a great time. NO, I did not fly my horse here and it would be a horrendous thing to try to get done so I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. Dogs and cats are hard enough but a horse? I bought my horse in David and we have another which we bought from the area. They are both local. Keep in touch !

I once was a serious equestrian, breeder and horse farm owner.
I also imported horses into the US. I introduced the Mangalarga Marchador Breed to the US from Brazil.
All tropical countries are endemically infested with ticks.
In Brazil, at my horse farm there, we began to breed guineas and guinea hens.
They were colorful and interesting to have, but also, and most importantly, they are the only Natural enemy to the tick, and love to eat them. They will help you keep ticks under control in a tropical climate.
They are also not bad to eat. "Tastes like chicken"
