- Yes Heff it sure does. I have been thinking lately about staying here, where we have friends, but I love Boquete. I should say we love Boquete. That whole house thing....Jeff, that house is a shell, the kitchen will be small and dark. Wiring has been ripped up, window is broken. I am referring to the window that is in, not all are. 80% complete, right. AND you buy the corp separately, no amount given. Lots of cracks. If you get buy that way take a look. This is why people get discouraged. Then I am the bad girl for pointing this out, like the Emperor has not clothes, neither does this house. Our buyer has one excuse after another, we were supposed to close this week, still nothing, may relist. Will come by Nov. one way or the other. April-Oct. pretty nice here. Thanks for adding us to your "friends". John and Janiss Stump spoke very highly of you folks. We had dinner with them last saturday and they showed us a myriad of pictures they had taken of Boquete and the surrounding area. It was very nice. We, like they, are going to retire to that area. We will probably be coming there somewhere in the late May early June time frame. We have several matters to clear up here in the states and then must go to Costa Rica to get some issues straightened out. We are going to be travelling around Central/South America looking for that "just right" spot to retire although from what John and Janiss have told and shown us Boquete might just be it.
I was curious about the 'Panama Social Security' credit union that was spoken of in one of the posts. Can you give me any information on it or is there a website or would you prefer to discuss it when Diane and I get down there? I really don't like these "discussion" websites due to the fact that people think they have to comment on everyone elses thoughts instead of expressing their own opinions (and we all know about opinions), (for instance John and Janiss post of a thank you that grew into a nasty diatribe) ,therefore, I prefer a phone or face to face discussion.

My Sheltie is actually eight years old now -- my fifth Sheltie, all (except my current one) from Quoi Dandy Breeders in the Shetland Islands -- true Shetland Collies. Great doggies.

Welcome Jim. Time just flew by with Christmas, New Years, Weddings, Birthday Celebrations. I will be back on here more now that the busy season has slowed down a little.

- Hi Jeff, University of Madison was great. I graduated in 1965 from Bay View. College and grad school at Drake, in Des Moines, taught in Des Moines. My dad worked out of Kenosha. He was a conductor for the Chicago North Western Railroad. His name is Duane Robu. He died of cancer this summer. He as also an auditor for Maseys in Chicago part time. We had our house here sold, according to this "friend" who said he was buying it as soon as we found something, which we did, this month. He has not come up with the money to day. Tells us he is rich. I think it is a scam, but will give him another week. May by the house anyway, not sure. Hope to meet the two of you when we get back. I am the older of the two blondes in the picture. My hair is a little longer now. That was taken after we zip lines in Cosa Rica last year, helmet heads. The cute one is our thirteen year old granddaughter. She wants to move with us, but we are not sure about that..... Abby

- Oy Vey! Had not heard that expression since I left Milwaukee. In the same post, down further, I see that you went to school in Wisconsin. I forgot if it was Madison or Milwaukee. I grew up there, remember hearing Oy Veys mier or something close. Think this was "Oh my God". Oy Vey, "oh my". Brings back a lot of memories. I graduated from Bay View High. What about you Jeff??? Is your wife from there as well? Abby
