Good morning Jim,
Yes, I did not know exactly what Favour wanted...so hopefully I nipped it! Where are you living now? Ken and I live in Oregon. Ken has been retired for a few years and I am semi-retired doing alterations from my home. We are looking at Panama as a new home not only because we have friends there, but because of their medical advantages. Our insurance here is over $850 a month with a high deductible so we pay cash for everything. From what I have read, our insurance would be $90 a month at Chiriqui Hospital. I will be having a mammo done there for around $40 compared to $400 here! Our children are grown with families of their own and I would miss them so much but with a pensianado, we would get 25% off on travel and using Skype maybe will be the way to go. How do you feel about leaving family? We would love to meet you and your wife and discuss moving to Panama. You are further along in your decision than we are. We will be in the Boquete area around the 14th of January, after staying in PC for three days. Our rental is in Los Molinos. We will have to get in touch with you after arriving there or you can email us at: kenpatt@q.com as we will have a computer with us.
Take care and I am looking forward to meeting you both. Pattie Thompson

Hi Jim: I was born at St. Joseph's Hospital in Hamilton, Ont. Burlington, Mississauga, Georgetown are the areas that I have lived. My world was very small and it shocked my family when I said I was going to move to Boquete, and at my age. This is a perfect retirement area and one can be extremely busy with volunteer work, socializing, and just relaxing. My greatest challenge is attending school to understand the Spanish language. Although I miss my 5 children and 9 grandchildren, I do not regret the change. Regards Theresa

Hi, Jim. No, we have not moved to Boquete. We are still living in the Belleville area. However, we are hoping to have a vacation in Panama, probably in January. If we go, it will likely be with Sieg Pedde and perhaps a group of other Canadians considering buying property at Roca Milagro. If you are keeping in touch with Sieg, he can let you know when the group will arrive.

Good morning Jim!
I'm writing to you from Scarborough, Ontario...up on a visit to see family and friends. My Mom lives in Scarborough and she is 88 so I try to visit every year. The weather is very different from Panama.
We lived in SW Florida for a few years and Lyn McKee and I both worked for the same real estate company...then both ended up in Panama...small world, huh?
We have a small construction project in Gariche, close to the border with Costa Rica. Check out our website...www.easyretirementliving.com
Better run for now...have to take my Mom for some medical tests. Hope to see you in Panama.
Regards
Ruth E.

Hi Jim.
Nice to meet you here. We are Albertans and I have lived in Calgary most of my life. Love Calgary but it is sure nice to be living here now. B.C. is beautiful also but now the cold weather is setting in again you will be coming at a nice time of year here.
Touch base when you arrive and we'll get together. I think I know your friend in Dolega.
Tracey
