I am living in Volcan, now, just back from USA, 2 months almost.,I was born here, but health issues brought me back..
I volunteer yoga class at church, you are welcome to join..
the group has foreigners and locals..so they asked to start...
thank you for confirming my belief that it is HIM not us that is the wierdo....had me questioning my own sanity and working hard to remember that IF we choose to live in Panama there might/will be things different than we are accustomed to here in...

Come explore and enjoy. There are many good people here in all professions and many who are not so good also, just like anyplace else. Come with an open heart and mind but do not leave your brains at the airport and you will do great.

- Don't worry, Margo, there are a lot of great people in the Boquete area. A certain percentage of people anywhere will be jerks and that certainly applies to Panama as well. Most of the people I have met though are very nice, just as they would be where I live and where you live now.
In Boquete, be sure to drop in for breakfast at 'Olga's' -- as anyone where it is -- and you will meet other North Americans there, Americans and Canadians. Same is true for 'The Bistro' at lunch and dinner time and a few other places too.
If you have other questions or concerns, fire away, I'm sure one of us will be able to answer.
