HeyMario, thanks for getting back to us. We have read that the tricare is kinda Iffy right now in David, but is still accepted in Panama City at some medical facilities.

Thanks for the helpful blog. I just called Tricare who didn't mention such problems. I hope the hospitals there get back on board or it may be hard for us retirees.

Anybody use their Tricare health insurance in Panama? My understanding is that it is accepted in Panama whereas medicare is not. Anyone know where it is accepted if this is the case?

I am a dentist and my wife is a RN. We are interested in volunteer work in the area.
I have a master's in Ecology and am interested in Botany, Birds/butterflies. I love the cloud forest. I love gourmet cooking and my wife loves to sew and quilt. We are dog lovers. I visited this week and loved it. Can't wait to return for good. We hope our house sells here soon.

Howling Success K9 Services said… - Yes, there is a "quarantine" period but it is "in home" which basically means you pay for the quarantine. You do not have to kennel them. Just have all of your paperwork in order and you won't have anything to worry about.
