Sugar & Spice is More than Just Nice - Outrageously Delectable is More Like It!
Recently tried some of the baked goods that Shawn and Ada produce in their Sugar and Spice bakery. Shawn packaged up a variety of "one bites" for tasting. They were incredibly good. I especially enjoyed the lemon bar. And I was extremely surprised at the terrific spicy potato empanada. On inquiry, Shawn said he would be more than happy to bake us a coconut cream pie with advance notice. We immediately gave him advance notice, and he created a pie like Mom never made....IT WAS SIMPLY TO DIE FOR!… Continue

- Susan: He is very nice and so is the rest of the staff - very service oriented and pleasant to work with. There are a few things not explained in the contract (unless it has been revised since we got ours) - like they will only pay for one "special procedure"a month (unless it's an emergency), but those, as I said are minor. So far, we have been very pleased with the physicians and the hospital staff that we have had contact with. The prices are workable (especially after the insurance discount) and, unlike the US, the staff works for YOU rather than for an HMO!!! Wendy in Palo Alto
