Thanks...very good news. We should close on our house by July 10th and will be down there house hunting. Your information was very reassuring.

I forgot to ask one other thing. I heard mail is a problem. Where so people forward their mail? To stateside relatives or to Panama directly or a postal box?

Hey Steven, glad you got a chuckle out of the video and after seeing that we have many of the same 'friends', I realized a lot of us have several things in common. Anyway, hope you make it this way so you'll see how wonderful the Highland area is and how wonderful its people are - the locals (Panamanian/Indigenous) are especially warm hearted people - and most of us foreigners, too :)

If you have already arrived, then you're seeing for yourself - no false advertising here! Nothing like mountains without the snow.

The climate in Boquete is wonderful. I'm sure you'll enjoy it. I haven't been there since the 90s. It has changed incredibly from all I hear. I hope to visit again soon.
