Tony you are correct. The people of Panama have spoken against corruption and the past. The majority have hopes that the next five years will be a vast improvement over the past.

- I am planning my first visit in September '09. Believe Boquete is where I want to retire. I have been exploring a place for two years, and have discarded Costa Rica and various cities in Mexico.
Having been born in Latin America, and being fluent in Spanish, but having been a US citizen for over 30 years, I believe the combination offered by Boquete is ideal.
I live in the mountains now, and wish to continue to do so.
