Is the coffee buisiness a good thing to get into i.e. growing and selling it is there money in it

I have a 4.3 hectare organic coffee farm. I love it. It is a fabulous adventure to be involved in. And no, unless you are in the Big League, you can't really make any money at it. if you can cover your maintenance, labor and processing costs, you are ahead of the game. Talk to gringos who have been here a number of years (me, 7) and Panamanian coffee farmers. It is not a game for the faint of heart or impatient!

So much depends upon your investment in the land. The summary answer is unless you own lot's of land already, probably not a business in which you can earn money.
