My name is Justin and I lived in Bocas for 3 years back from 1999-2002. I have been back in the states for about 8 years and we are ready to move back to Panama and we will be living in Boquete. I was wondering if you have any information regarding shipping a dog to Panama as well as shipping other person items such as photo albums and things like that.
I normally do not bring things with me when I come to Panama, but my wife has told me there are some things that we must bring for our move. Have you had any experience with the aforementioned?
Hi Lee, Your page here is amazing, how does this work? We missed you at Lauretta's Tuscan dinner last night. I'll try to get some photos up today, this is a lot of work! The dinner was excellent and all 62 seats were filled, a tribute to Lauretta's culinary skill and dynamic personality. See you soon, Cora

Hi Lee,
My husband and I are playing to visit The mountains in Pma, and also thinking about moving there. We live in Naples FLorida. Question: we are interested in visiting Potrerillo, do you know anyone who is renting his house WE will be down there from Dec 15th to 29th. What do you think about this area of Potrerillo, everybody said to us that is a good area because of the weather (less humidity).
I'm coming to visit Boquete for the first time on January 18th. I'll be staying 2 weeks for a nice vacation and considering moving to the area. Are there any social gatherings for this group? It would be great to meet some Americans and Canadians who've moved to Boquete.
Yes, Helena and the gang at Garden of Eden are wonderful. I've done some photo shoots out there on their property. What a beautiful spot. :)

Hi Lee,
Having a hard time finding a car rental for 75yrs and over Insurance is looked after for collision for 31 days only, no liability at all and it is $12 a day which is absurd We are in a quandary as to what to do and can understand that Jim and Hilda are having similar difficulties. Manual does not bother us as what we drove in Australia last yr was a manual on the wrong side of the rode with a left hand shift.
Could u rent a car in Heather's name and be covered for insurance under your panama policy still covering other driver's Let us know and give us a call tonight Di

Lee,
Thank you very much. I sent a note to Keith. Is there a website for the gym? What is Amigos - a bar - just want to know what I might be looking for? Are there a fair number of people that speak English, at least until I get more spanish into my brain?
Hola!
I am moving to Boquete in early Jan. Put my house on the market in Denver CO and it sold in one day in a market where houses usually sell in over 100 days. Needless to say, along with appreciation, panic time - as move out is Jan 5, so my two dogs and and I will be arriving in Panama on the 6th. First, I will be looking for a car as well as new friends. If you know of a reliable used Japanese car, please let me know. Thank you so much for your site.
Buenos, Senor Lee!
I've heard that you're gettin' a cake for a birthday girl. (She doesn't read this stuff!) And was wonderin' if you're bringing it to the Art Fair or where. I'd like to contribute. We can make an announcement on-stage. I'm not a 'friend', so e-mail me, would ya? ssbld65@yahoo.com. or call 6726-9433 Sandi
A friend told me yesterday about a Firefox addon called "noscript," which blocks java from all sites unless told not to do so. It works very well, and speed up access time tremendously. With Java blocked, I get most of the functionality of Boquete.ning, much faster. If I need to have full functionality, I simply left click on Options on the new tool bar at the bottom of the screen and allow java temporarily.
For sites like Fox and Accuweather, which had previously taken ages to load, it is a big help; loading is almost instantaneous.
You might want to give it a try if you are using Firefox.
Hi Lee, better late than never. What a tremendous service you are providing for all of us. Thank you for sharing your time and talents. See you soon.

I know I've said this in person, but just wanted to express my gratitude in writing for two things: this site, and your support of our little cafe.
Thank you,
