Had three 2 pound packges of coffee to send to the U.S. yesterday and they will not take them and that goes for any package. I don't know any more about this. Maybe someone has some more info on this.

I've been shipping coffee back to the states every year with MBE for years and I've never encountred any problems.
This situation has nothing to do with coffee and everything to do with overdue payments to COPA for shipping by Correos, the Panamanian postal service.
Was this green unroasted beans, roasted beans or roasted and ground coffee.
You can't send coffee out of Panama. They won't accept it. The only way is in someones suitcase. They don't have a problem with that.
Not true. Carol Cardinale-Santana ships coffee to the U.S. all the time.
I have sent twenty-pound boxes of coffee a couple of times to a friend who used to live here.
probably the david office. try boquete. never had a problem before.
As Keith cited on 22 NOV, the issue is between the entire Panamanian Postal Service and Copa (not receiving proper payments).
If you wish to really send a package, you can send it via DHL at Mail Boxes Etc. because DHL does not use Copa .... they have their own planes.
