Enrolling in Medicare while living in Panama

Hi there,

My wife and I are planning a move to Panama in September of next year. I will be 64. My question is, it's easy enough to sign up for Medicare in Panama online, as a US Military veteran, how do I get a new ID card when living there? Is there a Tricare office or something like that where they would have the answer?

You can deal with SS's Balitmore's office.  

                  or

I deal with SS's Regional office in Costa Rica. Their address is [e-mail] (The Embassy in Costa Rica has an ASC unit (American Citizens Service.) FBU stands for Federal Benifits Unit, a part of ACS.)

SS's regulation is you nare susspose to provide them with a local Panamian address. You might get a General Delivery addtress in Boqutete. I do not know their zip code.
