Greetings all.
I'm trying to determine the feasibility of buying (US), driving and parking an RV in the Boquete area.
Not having driven or been to Panama I need to know if this is even possible and how difficult (worth the effort) if feasible.
Ideally I'd like to rent in a RV park or private propety for several months to a year while I explore Boquete and the rest of Panama. My ultimate goal would be to buy and park on a property <= 5 acres.
All relevant info is welcome.
Thanks
Steve

It's a long drive with multiple borders to cross. It's been done, but you'll need to do a lot of in-depth research and be prepared with all the necessary paperwork. Importing a vehicle into Panama is also paperwork intensive and duties are involved. Getting a residency visa first might reduce risks and future costs.
Boquete has a small but nice RV park with about a half-dozen serviced pads. It is affiliated with Cafe Malu, but apparently not promoted very much. I suggest you look on Facebook and on Tripadvisor for the Cafe Malu entries.
Oscar did a short video about the place: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ofu4DZ-Ansg
Best wishes.
I agree. Crossing multi borders your Spanish would have to be very good. Come here, rent a small apartmentand rent a car before you do anything, Get the lay of the land. You screw up you could lose your RV in one of several countries that are having serious issues now i.e. Nicaraga , El Salvador, Hondorus, and Mexico.
Your American DL will be only valid for 90 days. Your tourist visa for 180 days. I would not do it, bringing your RV to Panamá.
