We bought a decent racket and balls at Valle Escondido's Pro Shop.
Also, and others will know the name, there's a quite large clothing and department store on the left side of the main street in Boquete as you walk uphill and in, the back on the main floor, they have sporting goods including tennis rackets and balls.

It is la Reina and they had several in the back. Nothing grand but they were fine

Thanks so much Bernie
We saw tennis balls at La Reina for $5/can and we recently bought some at Sportline at Chiriquí Mall for $5.95/can.
I am not familiar with Sportline. Do they also have rackets? Thanks
I'm not sure, Buddy. You may try and call them. They have lots of sports clothing and shoes, including tennis.
Perhaps surprisingly, I've seen racquets at Farmacia Arrocha. Pretty good place to shop for a lot of stuff.
