Banks announce new business hours from April 1
After the National Government announced the beginning of the absolute quarantine from April 1, the banks that are part of the Banking Association of Panama (ABP), revealed their new hours from this date.
According to an ABP statement, from Wednesday April 1, these will be their hours:
Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday From 1:00 pm to 6:30 pm
Thursday, Friday and Saturday: From 7:30 am to 1:00 pm

With the absolute quarantine measure announced by the Minister of Security, Juan Pino at the usual conference on Monday, March 30, women will be able to go out to do their errands at supermarkets and pharmacies on Monday, Wednesday and Friday; while men will do it on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.
On Sundays all Panamanians must remain in their residences.
The absolute quarantine is a measure of the health authorities with the aim of containing the spread of COVID-19 in Panamá , which until Monday, March 30, has caused the death of 27 people and reported 1,075 cases nationwide.

If you are over 60, it does not matter what your number is, you can go out Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday, as a Man, bewteen 11 and 1. If you are under 60, it is the last number of your Passport that you use if you are a forigner, regardless of your residency status.
As the banks are open Thrusday, Friday, Staurday bewteen 7:30 and 1:00, I certianly would not recomend saturdays, but Thursday could work. Leave boquete at 11, arrive Banitsmo 11:45, 30 minutes to make deposit, back to boquete. Make sure you bring proof of residency in Boquete with you, like a utiliry bill, and carry your Passport.
