What cell service is best from David to Boquete and surrounding areas?

We are headed back to Boquete TOMORROW!!! On our last trip, we had cell service through Movistar and Digicel, but I can't remember if we had service in Boquete. Their coverage maps show nothing there.

What SIM card should we pick up this time to ensure we have service in Boquete through David?

There are 4 cell phone providers in Panama, all have service here, but some are better than others depending on the area you are staying.

+ Movil, Claro, Movistar and Digicel.  I have lived in 4 places in Boquete, in my 7 years here, and have had to change cell phone providers 3 times.  Its actually a pretty easy thing to do to change, and keep you number.  I have used Claro, Movistar and Digicel all successfuly from David to  Alto and Bajo Boquete areas, up in the mountians, a different story.  Depending on where you are staying, you may want to ask the locals which provider works best there.

Thanks so much Rod. We already have cards from Movistar and Digicel, so I guess we'll go ahead and recharge those. Our cards were purchased on our October trip, so should still be good.
