What Attracts you to Boquete?
Boquete is where during my childhood years I spent many summer vacations at my aunt, Sarita de Carreira's Finca in Alto Lino. It was a beautiful time spent surrounded by flowers, Valencia oranges, coffee farm and the constant water of the Quebrada (brook) running along the side of her big house. My aunt Sarita, was a school teacher, and a Pioneer. She founded the Santuario Chapel and subdivided the land around it after her husband's death. Like everything else, Boquete has changed and grown way beyond our wildest imagination for the better. I visit a lot and love staying in touch with wonderful friends. Hope to move permanently soon.
