Bumped up from a whopping low 46 and 48 degrees to 53, his natural angle. First trim. There was a lot of pressure and stress on his sensitive structures and shows in his halting gait. He's on the mend now, being free of having such constrictive and unforgiving iron on for his entire life. He was in a size 2 shoe. His size is size 3. That's like having on high heels all day and not being able to remove them. His heels never had a chance at expansion and we're correcting contracted heels via forge and burning to bring out natural oils. So many horses suffer like this day end and day out.
