I make these dolls to help do several things to help the local Ngobe Indians, and well others in the Comarca. I hire the ladies to make the small dresses and bags. That helps to supply an income for their families. I then make the bodies, paint the faces and tie a wig of hair. Each doll is individually named. After the sale of the dolls and additional $5 from the purchse goes back to help with a dorm building project for the teachers at Alto Gyayabal, furnishings, and a small library to built within the dormitory building.
