6 year old Leila and Palomina (Spanish cross mare) enjoy watching week old foal, Bam Bam running around and showing off in his paddock with his mother, Starlight. Our normally very serious riding lesson was very hit and miss on Thursday, with many breaks to sit at wall and watch baby at play. Miss Kitty joined them. Palomina would have preferred to watch the baby the entire time and she is in awe and love with our baby boy. We're convinced she is plotting a foalnapping.Riding lessons are not all about discipline and form... They are meant to be fun! I let them watch and enjoy the baby's antics. Sometimes just sitting on a horse, watching a baby in action is a learning experience.
