Tian Tian is just that! He weighs as much (if not more) than our older Fu babies. He says, "Whoever is stippling his nose with a Sharpe marker... it's not funny anymore." His nose will come in black, but it has a bit to go, yet. It started out all pink. We've had all black noses, save one- Yang. Yang has a liver coloured nose, and rare blue eyes. Yes... Stan The Man is something special, all right!Tian Tian is a Lhasa-Tzu. Half Lhasa Apso and half Shih-Tzu. They are nearly the same breed, although the Lhasa has more protective qualities, a bit longer snouts and their coats are not as long, ground sweeping as the Shih-Tzus.A Lhasa-Tzu will have some protective quality and the Tzu sweetness. It's a superb combo! These two breeds were believed to have been the same, being called, "Apsos", until 1930's, when the first Shih-Tzu club was founded in England.Tzus are not to be adopted or given away. They hail from nobility and are not cheap. They are a huge investment to us and they are our lives. When we're not with the ponies, we're with our puppies. We do sell our Tzus, but become friends with our new Fu owners, remaining in contact via facebook and email or in person. Our friend bought Ping, our sweetest, timid and smallest of the Shih-Tzus. Barbara (Chiriqui) bought Ying, naming her Madison. We love hearing about Maddy's exploits in the garden and how she takes after her nose in the dirt Daddy. Pong was bought by Ileana, for her daughter in Panama City, as well as Yang was bought for a daughter, a single Mom, Cristina having found her and fell in love with her and her amazing personality. We are very careful as to who gets our Fus. No Fu is left behind. We have Fu back policy, in contract.
