Jeffery,

We offer inshore and offshore professional day charters out of Boca Chica and Pedregal. If your looking to catch a Marlin or Yellowfin Tuna we'd go offshore to Hannibal bank area and the cost is $1350. For inshore species such as Roosterfish and Cubera Snapper we'd fish Isla Ladrones/Isla Paridas area and the cost is $1200. Full lunch with fresh fruit, gourmet sandwiches, snacks, sodas, bottled water, and beer is included.

Please check out our website at www.FishPanamaToday.com or you can reach me at 6675-7191.

Thanks,

Shane Jarvis

Jeffery,

Check with Capt. Brian Brewer: http://www.aguaadventures.com/

Cell # 6446-1791. He lives in Boca Chica and cell coverage is spotty at times.

He can get you guys on the water at a reasonable price. All gear included.

You will want to wait till the winds die down a little though...Trust me!

I use to fish aeronosa Pardon the spelling.  this side of howard maybe 15 miles or more would love to go again but don't remember for sure how to get there or even if the guides we used and boats are still there.  It was predominatly used by GI's when they were here 35 to rent boat and kind and 5$ for 400 minnows.  we catch about 100 bass each in four hours.  I actually caught two that were huge 22 inches long and 19inch girth the other 21 inches and 18 inch girth largest bass i ever caught.

anyway I am here until 23 May so if someone is heading that way let me know

I do have friends coming from the states for 12 days 31March to 12 April so wo't be able to go than but any time after that or before 15 Mar thur 30 mar all for it

I can provide transportation if you can provide directions.  P.S. i do not drive Panama city so please dont direct me there

I wil be coming over in about two weeks, anyone need any fishing gear/tackle from the US? I can easily go to a number of tackle shops in the area. Just let me know.

Hey Jim, I'm a somewhat retired offshore captain from Port Aransas, Tx. Our family owned a popular 'haul-out/boat/engine repair service for decades..now retired. Question: How are the roads there regarding pulling a 21-25' boat from Boquete to the pacific? Should I bring my own boat down, or is is best, overall to buy one there? I like the twin outboard 'cat' styled rigs nowadays.

Bought me a boat today!! 21 ft striper by seaswirl. Not the best boat but heck has a live bait box. V6 for power Volvo Penta IO. Now to get it down south to the Rancho.  Hope soon.

Fran,

About a kilometer past Dr. Halpern's(sp?) office, the dentist, on the left side of the road. Pesquero's. I may have seen some flies there, too.

Depending on what you need, I have some extra stuff, mono, lures, no flies though.

I also have some light tackle (bass) rods and spinning reels for sale if any of the group is in need.

Daisy's for large tackle.  If you are interested in a light tackle set up, try Do it Center.
