Mexicali Chipotle Grilled Shrimp


2 tablespoons orange liqueur and 2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
1/4 cup gold tequila
1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil

3 cloves garlic, minced with 1 Teaspoon of Cumin
1 chipotle pepper, seeded and minced with 1/2 tablespoon salt
1/4 cup fresh cilantro,
1/4 Cup Brown
1 teaspoon black pepper
3 pounds medium-sized fresh shrimp, peeled and deveined


Combine liqueur, lime juice, tequila, pepper, sugar, cumin, olive oil, garlic, chipotle pepper, salt & cilantro in a heavy-duty, zip-lock plastic bag; add shrimp. Seal and chill mixture for 1 hour. Remove shrimp from marinade, discarding marinade. Place shrimp on skewers & then Grill shrimp over medium-high heat until shrimp turn are ready. ENJOY!!!
