- We are researching Boquete with the expectation of moving there next year. We are planning a visit probably in Jan 2011 to look around to make sure it is for us. We are looking to correspond with people who have made the move to get the great, good and what some of the challenges and difficulties are.

- Oh yes, I have more enablers ;) Nancy and Harry are my primary red licorice enablers. Ha ha! That's the only one for me. Excellent, so glad to hear you're getting all loose ends tied up, and will soon be here. You're missing a fabulous dry season/pool weather. Hopefully you sold all your stuff, and can cross that off your list of things to do. Once you get here you can and breathe and re-boot. There's just something about this oxygen enriched air and volcanic charged area... it's healing and rejuvenating. Keep me posted!

Also, I collect Panama coins and have for seven years with US coins.
I write shuttle mission reports for the New Zealand Spaceflight Assoc. and sent the reports to all on my list.
Photography has been my hobby and took it up when I was in Vietnam in 65-66.

Carol A said… - Hi Dennis: Yes, we have reservations at Villa Marita. We are only going to be there for 2-3 days. We have a small casita on a beach in CR (Playa Zancudo) and will be going there for most of our two weeks. This is the first trip to Boquete. We are looking at it for possible more permanent base than our little beach house. We love Zancudo. It is a great little town, but it has no infrastructure like banks, post office, doctors, pharmacy. And the only way to those things is via boat or a 2 hour ride on a dirt road. So we are considering something a bit more civilized with more of the necessities for the bulk of our time.
