Hola,
I have been here just a few weeks and am now in the market to find a small SUV type of vehicle. I need to keep it under $8500 and I do need an automatic transmission. I had thought maybe a Vitara, Terios or Sportage might be the right type of car. Actually, I have seen a Grand Vitara in town that is for sale - if anyone knows who is selling it that would be great.
I was driving a Vitara ragtop in Costa Rica and absolutely loved it - just too expensive to bring it over…

MIght any of you know of any Doctors doing either chiropractic adjustments and/or acupuncture on dogs?
In Florida, we a a vet that did both of these specialties along with regular and holistic veterinary care. We have been here in Costa Rica the past 2 years and have found a vet for the acupuncture and a "human" chiropractor who will work on small pets. I am from Florida, presently reside in Costa Rica and am having problems getting my Jeep 4x4 (brought here from the states ) serviced by the one and only Jeep dealer in the country. As I did not purchase my car from them, they want $5,000 to bring it in for service. Yes, I had a Tico call to check that as it seemed I must have understood incorrectly and that is the case. Good news! My buddy Cris located a self-storage place here in Santo Domingo. I talked to the owner today and will start storing my "chunches" ("stuff") on Saturday. I have been passing the place a couple times each week for the past 5½ years without seeing it. He really needs to put up some signs!
Tomorrow I will meet face to face with an international mover. I need to get some estimates over the internet/phone too. Still hard to get used to the idea that my son and I will be separated again.
I am already making plans to go to the USA in the spring. If he has free time, we can travel somewhere together. This year we were in Kentucky, Tennessee and Georgia. Last year were were in Houston, Baton Rouge and New Orleans. The year before we were in Florida. Yes, I've had a Sloppy Joe at Sloppy Joe's. Loved the trip out to Fort Jefferson in the Dry Tortugas.
