Kris said… Thank you so much for your very kind comments :) My husband follows this forum closely and has the highest regard for you, and hopes we have the opportunity to meet in person sometime. Of course nothing is a total bed of roses anywhere, but I think the negatives are far outweighed by the many positives of Panama and we are going to be very happy here.
I'm not a teacher, but I would certainly be willing to do what I can to help someone improve their English. So many Panamanians have been patient and kind to me and my barely adequate Spanish it's the least I can do.
I was going to send you a message directly but we have to be friends first, so that's how you happened to have gotten a friend request from me. Thank you, and thanks for visiting my blog.
Hi Roger, Alicia Mc Guigan is the woman that is caring for the boxers. Here is her email, so you can get all the information. akcleavenger@hotmail.com Hope they can find a new home. From a distance, they looked well cared for. Thanks! Abby
Good Morning Roger, I will get the information to you after visiting more with the woman who has them at the shelter. It is a beautiful place and they have space to run. Actually, when I get back from walking Dino and Sheba, I will get her information and give it to you. Then you can talk directly with her. Thanks for your interest. I know two dogs are a lot of work, always cleaning floors and windows and sweeping. My two play so well together, and it is keeping them young, Dino is 6 this month, Sheba is 3. It is worth it, as they bring me so much joy. Hope we will get together someday, here, or there. Abby
Hi Roger, I thought of you today, after going to an animal rescue place here. It is very nice, well taken care of. The lady has two boxers that need a home. The owner is going back to the states, and I guess it is harder to get the dogs out of the country, then to get them in. They have always been together. I saw the male, nice big fawn, but I only saw him from a distance, the female did not come to the fence. If you have any interest, let me know and I will get you in touch with the nice lady that runs the place. I may help out there with the birds. Hope all is well. Abby
