On THURSDAYS, we press coconuts to make oil. When the cocos are opened, we retrieve the water, then grate out the flesh, press the cream from it, and separate the oil from the cream.
The WATER is a by-product - something good that is released by the process but not part of it. The GRATED COCONUT and COCONUT CREAM, are parts of the process, as is the PULP left after the cocos are pressed.
THAT'S WHY THESE ITEMS ARE AVAILABLE FOR SALE ON THURSDAYS.
IT'S ALSO WHY THESE ITEMS HAVE TO BE ORDERED, SO WE KNOW HOW MANY COCONUTS TO PROCESS.
we do not need oil to be preordered. just come in during thursday delivery time, and get your container filled.

i don't, but there is interest. i'll have to see if i've got a machine that can do this kind of processing....
Do you offer raw cocoa butter?
Cocoa butter is made with
cacao. It’s made during the chocolate
making process.
there are two different products. one is cocoa butter, exactly as you say, from chocolate making, but there is also coco butter. this is made from breaking down dry coconut, sort of like making peanut butter. it's thick, rich, and has a flavor more intense than what is released by chewing. they actually look a lot alike, altho i'm not sure coco butter could ever be as smooth as cocoa butter, which is a true oil.
the recipes i find assume the use of dry shredded coconut from the store, not fresh raw coconut.
