On THURSDAYS, we press coconuts to make oil. When the cocos are opened, we retrieve the water, then grate out the flesh, press the cream from it, and separate the oil from the cream.
The WATER is a by-product - something good that is released by the process but not part of it. The GRATED COCONUT and COCONUT CREAM, are parts of the process, as is the PULP left after the cocos are pressed.
THAT'S WHY THESE ITEMS ARE AVAILABLE FOR SALE ON THURSDAYS.
IT'S ALSO WHY THESE FRESH ITEMS HAVE TO BE ORDERED, SO WE KNOW HOW MANY COCONUTS TO PROCESS.
we do not need oil to be preordered. just come in during thursday delivery time, and get your container filled.
Your orders will be taken until 6 p.m. on Wed, for pick up immediately after processing, 4-6 p.m. on Thurs. You will get the freshest possible, raw, cold pressed, cold processed, coconut products, made locally, by hand, with all stainless steel equipment, from island coconuts. No product is cooked, canned, sweetened, preserved, flavored, scented, or tampered with in any way.
