TRAVELING IN CAR FOR CENTRAL AMERICA

Hi guys I am next to launch us an amazing adventure, traveling from Panama to Mexico I am thinking of spending 3 months in these beautiful countries, visiting their beaches, vulcans, rivers,etc... I greatly appreciate any comment, warning or advice about whether someone has already made this trip over... Tips about the "BORDER CROSSING" I will travel with the family in our Toyota Land Cruiser 1HZ 1996 4x4 with all the toys on!!!

Your timing could not be worse. In Central America quartines and curfews flow with the wind. You maybe be able to travel one day the get stueck with a quarantine the next. But one of the biggest issues is getting stuck where there are thousands of illegal immigrants trying to pass throught the different countries. Columbia now has thousands of Hatian and African immigrants trying to pass in to Panama headed to the US. These groups for the most part are desperiate without supplies and water and have a tendency to take what they need fromm locals. Also the governments in Houndorus, Guatamala, and the rest are barely able to deal with the virus. Thousand of the locals to this day have not been vacinated. I consider you idea to be amazing alright, amazing stupid.

I will be making the trip by car to the US soon, just not sure of the exact date as I'm finalizing the sale of my home here. I do look forward to following your comments and experiences along the way. Thanks for being The Pioneer!
