Boquete "Suburbs" or "Surrounding Towns" or "Neighborhoods"

We've been happily camped out in Boquete central this winter.  Looking toward possibilities next year I need to know if grocery stores exhist in any of the other areas where I keep seeing rentals posted. This year we've done fine without a car, but I'm not sure that would be possible in outlying areas. (Don't want to rely soly on cabs)

    Alto Dorado has a great store run by Melissa who speaks English well, her brother manages the hardware store and their father runs a restaurant. A little pastry shop in the front as well.

      This may sound like a dumb question but here goes... We will be looking for a long-term rental when we finally retire in 14 months and 25 days (not that I'm counting)  We will rent for a year and then make the big decisions.  One thing we know we want is to live closer to the land and own chickens.  Does your neighborhood allow that?  The local realtors are looking at us like we have two heads.

      We have a Brand new 1,000 sqft town home for rent $550 per month furnished. You could build a coop at the bottom of the property if you like located 8min from down town. Plenty of cabs and bus service 500ft from units.

      Lee any utilities included in the rent? Cable Onda available? Close to either Alto Dorado or Super Ivan? Pictures on a website anywhere?
